The Gauntlet

The Ozark Diamond Gauntlet is a new breed of endurance race — part ultra, part obstacle course, part controlled chaos — built to test exactly what’s left in your tank when the course decides your fate. Runners tackle a 3.1-mile loop at Ballparks National as many times as possible within their chosen division: 3, 6, or 9 hour. Every lap features fixed physical challenges on the course, followed by a “Draw Your Fate” mystery obstacle at the finish. Each token pull delivers a different test: strength, speed, balance, precision, mental grit, or pure chaos. No two loops feel the same, and no athlete can predict what’s waiting for them on the line.
This is a race designed to be earned — not survived. Grit, unpredictability, and stadium-light atmosphere define the experience as day turns to night and the challenge transforms under the glow of bonfires and lanterns. Whether you’re grinding through the obstacle division or chasing raw mileage in the pure running class, the Diamond Gauntlet pushes runners into a place where toughness matters more than pace. This is the Ozarks’ toughest new tradition — a race built for athletes who don’t just want a finish time, but a story.
